Polar A360 Fitness Tracker with Wrist-Based Heart Rate Monitor

The Polar A360 is a waterproof fitness tracker and the first to have both a wrist-based heart rate monitor and Polar personalised training guidance as well as 24/7 tracking. It even has smartwatch features including smart notifications and a colour touchscreen.

The A360 takes heart rate monitoring to a new level, with no need for a chest strap. Simply tighten the wristband, turn on training mode and let the A360 will do the rest, monitoring your activity through your wrist.

The Polar A360 keeps you in the right heart rate zone, helping you achieve your fitness training goals. Whether walking or running, it measures your speed and distance from your wrist movement, both indoors and outdoors.

This fitness tracker, however, does much more than monitor your heart rate: it measures your activity, your training, counts your steps, calories and even your sleep patterns. The A360 includes the Polar specific Activity Guide, which supports you with motivational feedback to help you reach your daily goals such as ‘walk for 50 minutes or jog for 20 minutes’. It even vibrates to remind you to move if you have been inactive for too long.

Together with Polar Smart Coaching, you can assess your day-to-day fitness levels, plan your individual training, work out at the right intensity and receive instant feedback.

If you want, the A360 provides you with smart notifications, giving you vibrating notifications about incoming calls, messages, social media updates and calendar events, meaning you can stay connected even when out running, walking or cycling into work.

The Polar A360 fitness tracker combines fashion and function perfectly with its elegant, minimalist design. A sharp, high resolution colour touch screen gives instant access to all the information you need. Available with different coloured soft, silicone wristbands and in three different sizes.

Polar provides over 100 different sport profiles enabling you to choose the right one for your training and ensuring you receive sport-specific reports and feedback. Train for a running event witha personal and adaptable training plan in Polar Flow. Choose from four different targets: 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon and get a training plan that fits you and your goals.

Wrist band

I purchased my first A360 Polar fitness watch 3 years ago. I purchased the Polar Unite a month ago. I returned it because the strap was insecure and difficult to attach.
While the older A360 was much cheaper and I knew from experience it met my needs, I was disappointed to find a similar strap was used on my new purchase. Thankfully, I could fix the watch to my existing strap so kept this replacement.
Why has Polar changed the strap design??
